Status of 2001 Recommendations - Youth Voice
The Partnership recommended that youth-serving organizations solicit youth input in their planning and activities, and consider barriers to youth access, such as affordability, transportation issues, language, and comfort level.
Status: The Partnership continues to raise awareness around the need for youth input and access in planning efforts of organizations throughout the community. In 2003, the Partnership launched its own Teen Network, a board of 24 Arlington teens working to give youth a greater voice in the work of the Partnership.
