Recommendations
Goal 1 Goal 2 Goal 3

The Partnerships recommendations are presented in each of three goal areas. Where applicable, there are comments on focus group input and survey data that relate to any given recommendation. Some recommendations require FY 03 budget allocations from the County and/or School Board, as required by the Partnership charter. For recommendations that require budget allocations, the estimated funds needed and principal agencies involved are noted.

The Partnership emphasizes that the recommendations that follow are a part of a broader need to have everyone in the community take some initiative and responsibility for the issues we seek to address. For example, while there are recommendations for the School System to strengthen conflict resolution skills among our young people, parents also have a critical role in building this asset in their children.

The goals and recommendations are summarized below. Click on the links to read the full recommendations and details.
